Hatid Tulong Program to resume trips on July 25-26 –Galvez

The Hatid Tulong Program would resume on July 25-26, National COVID-19 Plan Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. said on Monday.

In a public briefing, Galvez noted that the program would now offer trips nationwide after the imposed moratorium on some regions due to the limited capacity of quarantine facilities.

Galvez said the moratorium would be lifted since the locally stranded individuals (LSIs) who were currently occupying isolation facilities would leave soon after completing the quarantine period.

He suggested that LSIs undergo PCR-testing for COVID-19 once they arrive at their respective provinces to avoid the spread of the virus.

— DVM, GMA News
