PNP reports 36 new COVID-19 cases

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday reported 36 new infections of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) among its police officers, bringing the total number to 1,600.
The latest data from the PNP also showed that recoveries increased to 610 after two more patients recovered from the virus, while the death toll within the PNP remained at nine.
As of 6 p.m. of July 21, there were 1,767 suspected COVID-19 cases and 727 probable cases.
The PNP reminded its employees experiencing symptoms similar to COVID-19 to contact its health service.
Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 ballooned to 70,764 including 23,281 recoveries and 1,837 fatalities. — DVM, GMA News
