PNP: 41 more personnel test positive for COVID-19; total at 2,798

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the Philippine National Police (PNP) increased to 2,798 on Friday with 41 new infections.

Fifteen more personnel have also recovered from the illness, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,841, while the death toll remained at 13.

As of August 14, there are a total of 747 probable and 2,153 suspect cases within the agency.

PNP personnel with COVID-19 symptoms are advised to reach out to the PNP Health Service.

The Philippines has reported a total of 153,660 cases with 71,405 recoveries and 2,442 fatalities. —Joahna Lei Casilao/LDF, GMA News
