COVID-19 recoveries in PNP exceed 2,000 with 178 new ones

The number of personnel who have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) within the Philippine National Police (PNP) surpassed 2,000 on Saturday after the agency reported 178 new ones, bringing the total to 2,019.

Meanwhile, the PNP also announced that the total number of cases rose to 2,842 with 42 new ones while the death toll remained at 13.

At present, there are 2,349 suspect and 779 probable cases within the agency.

Personnel who experience COVID-19 symptoms are advised to reach out to the PNP Health Service.

As of Saturday, the Philippines has reported a total of 157,918 COVID-19 cases with 72,209 recoveries and 2,600 fatalities. -MDM, GMA News
