34 more PNP personnel get COVID-19, total rises to 5,392

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) rose to 5,392 on Sunday after 34 more personnel contracted the virus.

Total recoveries rose to 4,046 after 37 additional personnel recovered from the respiratory illness while the death toll remained at 17.

The other 1,329 are active cases undergoing treatment or quarantine.
