PNP reports 62 new COVID-19 cases; total at 6,830

Sixty-two more personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) have tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total to 6,830, the agency said Tuesday.

The PNP also announced that total recoveries climbed to 6,162 with 32 new ones while the death toll remained at 21.

At present, there are 647 active cases within the PNP.

Meanwhile, the Philippines has reported a total of 360,775 COVID-19 cases with 310,642 recoveries and 6,690 fatalities.—Joahna Lei Casilao/LDF, GMA News
