25 more PNP personnel test positive for COVID-19

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) climbed to 7,054 on Monday with 25 more employees testing positive for the illness.

Latest data from the PNP showed that total recoveries rose to 6,462 after 65 additional police officers defeated the viral disease.

The death toll, meanwhile, remained at 22.

So far, there are 570 active COVID-19 cases within the police organization.

Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 increased to 371,630 including 7,039 deaths and 328,258 recoveries.—Ma. Angelica Garcia/LDF, GMA News
