Duterte inspects Rolly-hit areas in Catanduanes, Albay
President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday afternoon conducted an aerial inspection of the areas hit by Super Typhoon Rolly over the weekend.
In photos shared with reporters, the President was seen conducting the aerial inspection with Senator Bong Go in a helicopter.
Among the areas they inspected are Catanduanes, which was the first province that the typhoon hit, and Guinobatan town in Albay.

The chopper also landed in Guinobatan where Duterte met with the locals.
Following the visit, Go said the President would meet with concerned government officials for a situation briefing and discuss the relief and rehabilitation efforts for those affected by the typhoon.
The President's visit came after netizens criticized the President for supposedly going "missing in action" as the Philippines was ravaged by Super Typhoon Rolly, dubbed as the strongest tropical cyclone in the year this year.
Go, however, disputed claims that the President was missing in action amid the onslaught of Tropical Storm Rolly.
The President was in Davao City when the tropical cyclone hit parts of Luzon on Sunday.
-NB, GMA News
