PNP: 28 more personnel test positive for COVID-19

Twenty-eight more personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) have tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total tally to 7,799, the agency said Friday.

Total recoveries also rose to 7,412 after 49 more recovered from the illness while the death toll within the agency remained at 25.

Meanwhile, active cases were recorded at 362.

The Philippines has reported a total of 415,067 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 375,237 recoveries and 8,025 fatalities. -MDM, GMA News
