Robredo says her suggestions often ‘shut down’ by gov’t but implemented later on
Vice President Leni Robredo on Sunday noted that the Duterte administration often “shuts down” her suggestions but implements them months later.
Pero later on, gagawin din nila many months after,” she said in her weekly radio show, following President Rodrigo Duterte’s approval of a January 2021 dry run for face-to-face classes in areas at low risk for COVID-19.
Robredo also said several officials of the Department of Education (DepEd) at the regional, provincial, and city levels supported her push for face-to-face classes in certain areas.
“Sila, agree sila e.
Metro Manila, Davao City, and Cotabato, however, have begged off from the pilot implementation of face-to-face classes after the DepEd nominated over 1,000 schools nationwide for the dry run.
