Comelec to resume voter registration on Jan. 4, 2021

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is set to resume voter registration on January 4, 2021, Commissioner James Jimenez announced on Wednesday.

"If you missed the last day of #VoterReg2020, don’t despair just yet. #VoterRegistration will resume January 4, 2021. #MakeAPlanToRegister then. #MagparehistroKa!" Jimenez said in a tweet.

The last day of voter registration for this year was on December 29, Tuesday, according to COMELEC's earlier advisory.

No voter registration was conducted on the remaining special (non-working) days and regular holidays of the year.

Voter registration is conducted from Mondays to Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Friday as the designated disinfection day unless the LGU prescribes a different disinfection day," it read.

The COMELEC reminded the public that health protocols for COVID-19 will be strictly imposed in all of its offices.—AOL, GMA News
