PNP personnel with COVID-19 now at 9,645

Twenty-four more personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total to 9,645, according to the agency.

The PNP also announced that total recoveries rose to 9,141 after 43 more personnel recovered from the illness while the death toll remained at 28.

At present, there are 476 active cases within the agency.

The Philippines reported a total of 504,084 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 466,249 recoveries and 9,978 fatalities. — DVM, GMA News
