Demand for giant carrier car seats up 300% –supplier

The demand for some classes of car seats rose more than 100 percent following the announced implementation of the Child Safety and Motor Vehicles Act this February, according to a major seat supplier.

The demand for car seats had been growing since 2018, but this accelerated further due to the full implementation of the new law on February 2.

There are three size classifications for car seats: for babies, for four-year-olds, and 12-year-olds.
