5-year-old electrocuted to death in Biliran

A five-year-old boy was electrocuted to death in Culaba, Biliran on Saturday after he hit a grounded electricity post while riding a bicycle.

According to a report on “24 Oras Weekend,” investigation showed that John Javier Dimalaluan fell onto a post, which was grounded due to a peeled live wire that was connected to it.

The victim was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Just recently, a two-year-old child in Quezon City died due to electrocution after inserting a spoon into an electrical outlet.

Meanwhile, a man was rescued in Cagayan de Oro City after he was electrocuted.

The victim was waterproofing a roof when his paintbrush hit a live wire.

Though residents had a hard time retrieving the victim from the roof, he is now in a stable condition. — Joahna Lei Casilao/DVM, GMA News
