"I am better after only one vial of remdesivir and steroids. I came in at the right time since pneumonia was caught early on. Doctors won't discharge me though until four more vials of remdesivir which means I will be confined until Thursday," he said.

"But I do feel normal already on my third day of confinement, enough to do my thrice a week briefings," he added.

Roque also said that he will transfer to a temporary treatment and monitoring facility on Friday to continue with his 14-day isolation.

The presidential spokesperson revealed on Saturday that has been hospitalized due to COVID-19.

He is expected to announce the new quarantine classifications for Metro Manila and surrounding provinces at around 3 p.m. today.

Just last month, Roque announced that he had contracted the disease. —LBG, GMA News
