House adopts resolution honoring Antipolo lawmaker Resurreccion Acop


The House of Representatives on Monday adopted a resolution expressing its deep condolences to the bereaved family of the late Antipolo Representative Resurreccion Acop.

The resolution was filed by Speaker Lord Allan Velasco, House Majority Leader Ferdinand Romualdez, and House Minority Leader Joseph Stephen Paduano.

House Resolution 1810 honors Acop's invaluable contribution and accomplishments in the 18th Congress.

Acop died on Friday due to COVID-19 complications.

According to the lawmaker's husband, former lawmaker Romeo Acop, they were infected with COVID-19 last April and the Antipolo lawmaker suffered from complications.
