PNP reports 76 new COVID-19 cases

Seventy-six more personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) have tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total to 28,791 on Saturday, according to the agency.

The PNP also reported that total recoveries climbed to 27,301 after 114 more recovered from the illness.

Meanwhile, one new fatality brought the death toll to 77.

At present, there are 1,413 active cases within the agency.

The Philippines has reported 1,467,119 confirmed cases, of which 1,391,335 have recovered and 25,816 have died. -MDM, GMA News
