Metro Manila, other areas under GCQ until end of July
Metro Manila and several cities and provinces across the country will be under general community quarantine (GCQ) status from July 16 to July 31, presidential spokesman Harry Roque said on Thursday.
According to a video message from the Palace, here are the areas under GCQ from July 16–July 31:
- National Capital Region
- Baguio City
- Apayao
- Santiago City
- Isabela
- Nueva Vizcaya
- Quirino
- Bulacan
- Cavite
- Rizal
- Quezon
- Batangas
- Puerto Princesa City
- Guimaras
- Negros Occidental
- Zamboanga Sibugay
- Zamboanga City
- Zamboanga del Norte
- Davao Oriental
- General Santos City
- Sultan Kudarat
- Sarangani
- South Cotabato
- Agusan del Norte
- Surigao del Norte
- Agusan del Sur
- Dinagat Islands
- Surigao del Sur
- Cotabato City
Areas under GCQ with heightened restrictions until July 31 are:
- Cagayan
- Laguna
- Lucena City
- Naga City
- Negros Oriental
- Zamboanga del Sur
- Davao City
Areas under GCQ with heightened restrictions from July 16–July 22 are:
- Aklan
- Antique
- Capiz
- Bacolod
MECQ areas
Meanwhile, the following areas are under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) from July 16–31:
- Bataan
- Cagayan de Oro City
- Davao Occidental
- Davao de Oro
- Davao del Norte
- Davao del Sur
- Butuan City
Areas under MECQ from July 16–July 22 are:
- Iloilo
- Iloilo City
Areas not mentioned are placed under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ), Roque said.
