Duterte vows to campaign, bring in huge amounts of money for PDP-Laban bets

President Rodrigo Duterte said he will campaign for his party mates in PDP-Laban during Eleksyon 2022 and bring in lots of money along the way.

Duterte made the promise after administering the oath on the new PDP-Laban officials in a meeting held at Clark, Pampanga that installed Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi as President, ousting Senator Manny Pacquiao.

“Those running for reelection, ikampanya ko kayo. Kayong mga tatakbo, city for city, province for province, ikakampanya ko kayo,” Duterte said.

(Those seeking to be elected, I will campaign for you.)

“Magdala ako maraming pera. Per sako, kung meron,” Duterte added.

(I will bring lots of money. Sacks of it, if that is possible.)

Those PDP-Laban members present during the meeting are calling on the President to run for Vice President in the 2022 elections, and pick his running mate as well.

However, the meeting is not recognized by the PDP-Laban faction led by Pacquiao. — DVM, GMA News
