146 more PNP personnel test positive for COVID-19

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) rose to 31,933 on Thursday after 146 more personnel tested positive for the illness.

According to the PNP, total recoveries also rose to 29,977 with 90 new ones.

Meanwhile, the death toll remained at 88.

There are also 1,868 active cases still undergoing treatment.

As of August 11, the Philippines has logged a total of 1,688,040 confirmed cases, of which 1,577,267 have recovered and 29,374 have died. — Joahna Lei Casilao/RSJ, GMA News
