Kabataan party-list bares nominees for Eleksyon 2022

The Kabataan party-list on Saturday announced its nominees for Eleksyon 2022.

During its national convention, Kabataan bared the names of its seven nominees.

The first nominee is former University of the Philippines student regent Raoul Manuel, national president of Kabataan party-list and convenor of Youth Act Now Against Tyranny and Rise for Education-National.

The second nominee is Angelica Galimba, national minority rights advocate of Tignayan Dagiti Agtutubo Ti Kordilyera para ki Demokrasya ken Rang-ay.

The third nominee is Jandeil Roperos, national president of the National Union of Students of the Philippines.

The fourth nominee is Maria Jianred Faustino, former councilor and treasurer of the UP Los Baños University Student Council and regional coordinator of Kabataan party-list-Southern Tagalog.

The fifth nominee is Jayvie Cabajes, Kabataan vice president for Mindanao.

The sixth nominee is Vince Alloso, convenor of the Youth Act Now Against Tyranny - Cebu.

The seventh nominee is RJ Ledesma, chairperson of the League of Filipino Students - Bacolod.

Kabataan said among its platforms is ensuring the youth's right to education. It is also advocating for scientific and people-centered response to the pandemic, job security, youth employment and workers rights towards economic recovery from the pandemic.

The party-list is also committed to defend human rights, it said. —KG, GMA News
