Ex-VP Noli de Castro files COC for senator in Eleksyon 2022

Former vice president Noli de Castro on Friday filed his certificate of candidacy for his senatorial bid in the 2022 national elections.

De Castro took his oath as member of Aksyon Demokratiko on Thursday before Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, the party's president and standard bearer, and party chairperson Ernest Ramel.
Before taking his oath, the 72-year-old broadcaster announced his departure from television network ABS-CBN.
De Castro joined politics in 2001 wherein he topped the Senate race and eventually ran and served as vice president from 2004 to 2010.—AOL, GMA News
