DOH reports additional 3,439 COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health (DOH) on Friday reported an additional 3,439 cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total to 2,775,930.

In a statement, the DOH said this was uploaded in the COVID-19 Document Repository System last September 29 to October 18 but was only pushed to the COVIDKAYA on October 27.

Of the 3,439 cases, the DOH said 3,415 are new recoveries, two are new fatalities, and 22 are new active cases.

This brings the total recoveries to 2,683,496, the death toll to 42,577, and the active cases to 49,857.

According to the DOH, the issue is being addressed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology.
