US man soliciting child porn images from poor Pinoy moms sentenced to 27 years

A man from Sidney, Ohio was sentenced in a US court to 27 years in prison for attempting to produce child pornography by soliciting from impoverished mothers in the Philippines.

In a statement by the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio, Charles Lee Frazier, 42, had violated his  supervised release while being registered as a sex offender from a previous conviction.

Frazier had admitted during his guilty plea in March 2021 that he solicited child pornography from Filipina mothers.

Court documents revealed Frazier used Filipino dating sites to contact poverty-stricken Filipina women, obtaining sexually explicit pictures of their children in exchange for money in Skype chats.

Specifically, Frazier’s requests involved pornography of naked minor children engaging in sexual conduct with other children or with their mothers.

Further, the defendant distributed child pornography to several women, as examples of the outcome of images he wanted them to portray with their children, or with instructions to show the pictures to minors to convince them to engage in the behavior.

Frazier also talked about committing violent acts against children, particularly discussing killing infants during sexual assaults.

The defendant had been sending money from a Sidney, Ohio store to women in the Philippines from April through July 2019.

In one instance, Frazier sent about $800 or about P40,000 to one individual in exchange for nude images of a seven-year-old girl.

Frazier had been a registered sex offender at the time of the offense after being convicted in a 2011 federal case for receiving child pornography images. The defendant was sentenced to 84 months in prison for the conviction. —LBG, GMA News
