Comelec to decide on vote-buying complaints against 2 mayors soon

After disqualified Laguna governor ER Ejercito left the provincial capitol last week, the Commission on Elections is set to rule on two more disqualification complaints against local officials.

According to a report on GMA's "News TV Live", the Comelec is expected to decide on complaints against Roxas, Isabela Mayor Benedict Calderon and Norzagaray, Bulacan Mayor Alfredo Germar.

Both mayors have been accused of vote buying in the 2013 elections. Neither official has made a statement on the complaints against them.

Comelec Chairman Sixto Brillantes Jr. said decisions on the complaints will likely be out in the next few days. — JDS, GMA News
