Cessna plane crashes off coast of Ilocos Sur

A Cessna plane crashed off the coast of Santiago town in Ilocos Sur, according to a report on "State of the Nation with Jessica Soho."

Based on an initial report, two people died in the incident.

A barangay official said a diver found the remains of one of the victims inside the plane.

Residents related that the plane was flying low when it snagged into a zipline before it crashed into the sea.

Resue operations was immediately conducted by authorities. — BAP, GMA News
