Sea ferry catches fire off Cebu pier; all 124 people aboard rescued
Fire of still undetermined origin hit a Cebu-bound passenger vessel from in Bohol on Sunday, a coast guard official said.
Quoting Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) commander Armand Balilo, Super Radyo dzBB reported that a vessel of Lite Ferries shipping caught fire as it was nearing Cebu from Tagbilaran City in Bohol.

All 97 passengers and 27 crew members of the vessel have been safely rescued by volunteers and PCG personnel aboard a private ship.
The fire-hit vessel stalled some 300 meters off Argao Pier in Cebu.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire. —LBG, GMA News
