Wife reveals Batocabe murdered on their wedding anniversary

Just hours after AKO BICOL party-list Representative Rodel Batocabe was shot to death by unidentified assailants, his wife, Gerti Duran-Batocabe, revealed that the congressman had been murdered on their wedding anniversary.

In another post, Duran-Batocabe hinted that her husband had been murdered over politics.

Rodel Batocabe and his bodyguard, Senior Police Officer 1 Orlando Diaz, were shot to death at 3 p.m. after a gift-giving event in Daraga's Barangay Burgos.

Batocabe was running for Daraga's mayorship in the May 2019 elections. — DVM, GMA News
