Mayor's husband, 2 others killed in Cebu ambush

The husband of San Fernando, Cebu Mayor Lakambini Reluya was among those killed in Tuesday's ambush in Talisay City, GMA News' John Consulta reported on Balitanghali on Wednesday.

Mayor Reluya, her husband Barangay Captain Ricardo Reluya, their two bodyguards, driver and an investments and promotions officer were on board a van when shot several times by motorcycle-riding suspects.

Aside from Ricardo Reluya, also killed were the van's driver and the investments and promotions officer.

Mayor Reluya and her two bodyguards survived the ambush.

Police have yet to determine the motive behind the attack. —KBK, GMA News
