Quezon's No. 2 most wanted arrested in Mindoro

Authorities arrested the second most wanted person in Quezon province Tuesday.

The suspect was arrested in Soccoro, Oriental Mindoro by joint personnel of Soccoro Municipal Police Station, CIDG MIMAROPA, and policemen from the Quezon Police Provincial Office and Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Socrates Faltado, chief of the Regional Public Information Office of MIMAROPA-PNP, identified the suspect as Leoderico Macasaet Manguerra.

The 44-year-old Manguerra is wanted in Lucena City for murder based on warrant of arrest issued last year by the Regional Trial Court Branch 57.

Manguerra is now under the custody of Oriental Mindoro Police Province and will be transported to Quezon to face jail.

No bail is recommended for the crime committed by Manguerra.  —LDF, GMA News
