7 hurt as Clark Airport ceiling collapses due to Luzon earthquake


At least seven people were injured after the magnitude 6.1 magnitude earthquake caused damages to Clark International Airport in Pampanga on Monday.

According to a report in GMA's News TV Live, the ceiling above the airport's check-in counter collapsed and hit the victims.

They were immediately brought to the hospital for treatment.

Though the airport's runways were not damaged, operations of the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) will be suspended for 24 hours as damage assessments are ongoing, according to the Department of Transportation. —NB, GMA News
