Two toddlers in Bulacan died after allegedly being infected with meningococcemia, according to a report on GMA News' 24 Oras Weekend.

The three-year-old and one-year-old victims were rushed to the hospital in Santa Maria, Bulacan after reportedly showing symptoms of the infection, including vomitting, rashes, cough, and fever.

Health authorities, however, clarified that tests have yet to be conducted to determine if the two indeed died from meningococcemia.
