Ex-Bayan Muna spokesman shot dead in Camarines Sur

A former spokesman of Bayan Muna was shot dead Monday morning while on his way to work in Naga City, Camarines Sur, according to Mark Makalalad's report on Dobol B sa News TV.

The report quoted regional police spokesperson Police Major Malou Calubaquib as saying that the victim, Neptali Morada, 45 years old, was shot by a suspect who was on board a white vehicle in Barangay San Isidro around 7 a.m.

Morada was reportedly on his way to his office in Naga City proper when shot.

Police investigators found six empty shells at the scene of the crime.

Investigation was ongoing to determine the identity of the suspect and the motive for hte killing. —KBK, GMA News
