10-year old with special needs murdered, repeatedly raped

The body of a 10-year old child with special needs was found in Tayabas City in the Quezon province, with initial reports showing that she was repeatedly raped before and after death.

According to a report on GMA's 24 Oras Weekend on Sunday, the body of the child was found on Saturday. She went missing on Thursday.

Initial police reports show that the child was raped before and after she was killed, and suffered from severe trauma on her face.

"Nakita namin na may sign siya na sinakal, tapos may tama siya sa kaliwang mukha na maaring pinukpok siya ng matigas na bagay," said Police Master Sergeant Aurelia Garcela of the Tayabas Child Protective Services.

The child was last seen with someone from the community known as "Papa Jun" hours before she went missing.

"Sana kung nasaan ka man naroon sumuko ka na. Maawa ka naman sa anak ko, walang kamuwang muwang, binaboy mo!" said the victim's mother Melody Oabel. — Jon Viktor Cabuenas/DVM, GMA News
