Nueva Ecija lawyer shot to death inside his office

A 73-year-old lawyer was shot to death in his Talavera, Nueva Ecija office by an unidentified gunman last Friday.

Authorities identified the victim as Attorney Bayani Dalangin y Parumog, married and a resident of Maria Theresa Exit, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

The gunman shot Dalangin at 7:15 p.m. while the lawyer was meeting with a client.

The gunman then hurriedly fled and headed south on a motorcycle.

Dalangin was meanwhile rushed to at the Talavera General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
