Biñan, Laguna confirms first COVID-19 case

Biñan City in Laguna on Monday confirmed its first of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection.

In a Facebook post, the city's information office said the city health office reported a 58-year-old female who tested positive for COVID-19.

She was a resident of Barangay San Francisco and has no travel history.

The patient started to show symptoms on March 7. Result of the test conducted on her was confirmed on Monday.

She was currently admitted at a hospital, the city health office said. --Joviland Rita/KBK, GMA News
