Frontliners in Laguna hospital overjoyed after 21 PUIs tested negative for COVID-19


Doctors and other frontliners in Sta. Cruz, Laguna were overjoyed after learning the 21 Persons Under Investigation (PUI) confined in their hospital have tested negative for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Hospital administrator Debbie Dael shared a photo of them cheering after hearing of the news.

Debbie, the whole hospital is currently undergoing another round of decontamination to secure the safety of the facility.

For now, their hospital will only be accepting emergency cases and patients will still be required to go through triage.

As of Monday afternoon, the total COVID-19 cases in the Philippines climbed to 1,546 cases with 78 deaths and 42 recoveries.

A total of 1,013 people have also tested negative for the disease while 692 more are awaiting the results of their test.
