Quezon province experiences power outages due to Ambo — Gov. Suarez

Quezon Governor Danilo Suarez said his province experienced power outages after Typhoon Ambo struck on Friday.

"Maraming lugar na walang kuryente at maraming cell sites ang natumba," he said in a Dobol B sa News TV interview.

Suarez estimated that power outage was at 50 to 55% as power lines got knocked down.

Authorities have yet to assess the damages in terms of agriculture, with many coconut trees also toppled by the typhoon, according to Suarez. — Jamil Santos/RSJ, GMA News
