Biñan, Laguna to have its own mega quarantine facility

A "mega" quarantine facility being erected in Biñan, Laguna may be up and running soon.

A tweet by Super Radyo dzBB's Luisito Santos on Friday said the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) targets to finish the facility by Monday, May 25.

Based on latest tally, Biñan has 35 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 26 recoveries and seven deaths.

Laguna is among the areas under modified enhanced community quarantine, based on Resolution No. 37 of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.

The government said Metro Manila and Laguna continue to be considered high risk in the transmission of the deadly virus. --KBK, GMA News
