Jang Lucero's kin want girlfriend investigated; Meyah denies role in slay

The family of Jang Lucero has asked the National Bureau of Investigation to look into the killing of the part-time driver who was stabbed 52 times in Laguna several weeks ago.

According to John Consulta's report on "24 Oras", Lucero's loved ones want her live-in girlfriend Meyah Amatorio investigated for her alleged role in the murder.

"Minahal niya ng todo-todo. Sinaktan siya. Ngayon ko lang nalaman lahat 'yun.
Na niloloko niya si Jang sa relasyon nila," the victim's sister Angela Lucero said.

In an interview with GMA News, Amatorio denied having anything to do with the killing.

"Naniniwala sila sa fake news," Amatorio said.

Amatorio's ex-girlfriend Annshiela Belarmino was initially arrested in connection with the killing but was eventually released after the Laguna Prosecutor's Office dismissed the complaint against her for lack of sufficient evidence. -NB, GMA News
