Gov't dangling P3-M reward for arrest of Sawadjaan, other ASG members -Zamboanga City mayor

The national government is offering a P3-million reward for anyone who will provide information that would lead to the arrest of Mundi Sawadjaan and other Abu Sayyaf members, Zamboanga City mayor Beng Climaco said on Saturday.

In a Facebook post, Climaco claimed that aside from Sawadjaan, and two other suspects who are both Indonesians, are now "sent out for a mission to sow terror in Zamboanga Peninsula."

According to Climaco's post, the two Indonesian could still be of minor age or could be as old as 22 and 25 years old.

"The national government is offering a reward of P3M for the information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of each of the suspects," Climaco said.

One of the Indonesians, a male, is described to be between 17 to 25 years old, with light built and about 5'5in. high. The other Indonesian, a female, meanwhile is between 17 to 22 years old.

The Philippine Army has pointed to Abu Sayyaf member Mundi Sawadjaan as the mastermind in Monday's twin bombing attacks in Jolo, Sulu, that left 15 people dead and over 70 others injured.

Revenge for the death of ISIS emir Hatib Hajan Sawadjaan was one of the angles being looked into by the military, Western Mindanao Command (WestMinCom) chief Major General Corleto Vinluan Jr. has said.

Hatib is the uncle of Mundi Sawadjaan. Other reports are claiming the three people with a bounty on their heads are suspects in the twin bombings. -MDM, GMA News
