Child actor Kenken Nuyad pleads for rescue as flood nears roofs

A child actor took to Facebook Live to plead for rescue on Thursday morning as floodwaters reached the roof level of his area in Rodriguez, Rizal.

Kenken Nuyad showed the flood levels from his home on Facebook while asking for help.

Kenken has starred in numerous films and television shows, including the Glaiza De Castro-starrer Liway in 2018.

Residents of eastern Metro Manila and nearby Rizal municipalities have taken to social media to plead for help as heavy rains from Ulysses brought on heavy floods overnight.

Rodriguez town is located along the Marikina River valley. In Marikina City, the third alarm has been raised because of the rising water level, which is nearing the height reached during Typhoon Ondoy in 2009.

Ulysses is currently making its way northwestward across Luzon after making three landfalls in Quezon province early Thursday morning. —JST, GMA News
