Pampanga anticipates more floods in two days as water from Nueva Ecija travels downstream

Pampanga authorities are preparing for the onset of more floods in two days with the expected flow of water downstream from Nueva Ecija towards the province.

According to Ivan Mayrina's report in "Balitanghali," some areas in Pampanga are catch basins of the water heading towards Manila Bay.

Flood-prone places such as Macabebe, Masantol, and Apalit are still being monitored with the high tide combining with heavy rains brought by Typhoon Ulysses on Thursday morning.

The Pampanga River is also anticipated to overflow, but the province has so far avoided the need for emergency evacuation of residents thanks to their pre-emptive evacuation efforts.
