Fliptop artist J-King nabbed for possession of marijuana

Fliptop artist J-King was nabbed in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija for possession of marijuana.

According to a “24 Oras Weekend” report on Sunday, J-King—whose real name is Julius Cenon—and a companion were flagged by police for not wearing helmets while aboard a motorcycle.

The two attempted to evade authorities when they were approached.

An inspection of J-King’s bag revealed two kilos of suspected marijuana worth P240,000.

A glass pipe and lighter were also recovered from his belongings.

The suspects will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. — Julia Mari Ornedo/BM, GMA News
