Carmona residents shocked to discover face masks used as pillow fluff

Two Carmona, Cavite residents found themselves in a waking nightmare after discovering that the pillows they purchased were stuffed with used face masks.

According to Vonne Aquino’s “24 Oras” report, neighbors Nolan Lodor and Joan Casukay bought the pillows for P50 each from children who made rounds in Barangay Uno.

Biñan, Laguna resident Erika Marfil also had the same experience after buying pillows online from a seller based in Carmona.

Kaya ayun pagbukas namin, puro face mask nga po ‘yung laman,” she said.

The Carmona Municipal Health Office has collected the pillows to see if the face masks inside have been used.

He added that the sellers may face charges for violation of the Sanitation Code of the Philippines.—Julia Mari Ornedo/LDF, GMA News
