2 Saudi nationals with alleged links to ISIS nabbed in Cotabato City

Two Saudi nationals with suspected links to international terrorist group ISIS were arrested in Cotabato City on Wednesday, according to the police.

An improvised explosive device was seized from the suspects, along with several components used in making IEDs.

A search warrant issued by Judge Allan Edwin P. Boncavil Isulan, Sultan Kudarat Regional Trial Court Branch 19 allowed authorities to conduct a search on the suspects' room.

According to the police, the two are linked to ISIS-East Asia subleaders who are attempting to bring Arab nationals to the country.

Aside from an IED, also seized from the suspects were five assorted passports, one alien certificate of registration, two passbooks of savings account, a laptop, cellphones and credit cards. --KBK, GMA News
