A school in Tagbilaran City, Bohol has been placed on lockdown after 14 teachers tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
According to a report on “Balitanghali” on Tuesday, the lockdown in Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School will last for 14 days as part of efforts to contain the spread of the virus.
One teacher was already admitted in a hospital, while the others were sent to quarantine facilities.
The distribution of modules was also temporarily suspended.
The local government already conducted disinfection in the school.
It added that the school can operate once it gets a green light from the Inter-Agency Task Force. -NB, GMA News
