Moderate 5.0 quake hits near Sarangani, Davao Occidental

A magnitude 5.0 earthquake hits off the coast of Sarangani, Davao Occidental early Saturday morning, PHIVOLCS reported.

The quake, which occurred at 4:14 a.m., was 80 kilometers in depth and tectonic in origin.

No damage is expected but there may be aftershocks, the agency reported. -- BAP GMA News
