Baste Duterte files COC for Davao City vice mayor in Eleksyon 2022

President Rodrigo Duterte's son Sebastian "Baste" Duterte filed his certificate of candidacy for the vice mayoralty of Davao City in Eleksyon 2022 on Sunday.

The younger Duterte filed his COC at around 11:30 a.m. at the Commission on Elections office in Davao City, according to a report by John Ryan Calonia of Super Radyo Davao on Super Radyo dzBB.

Baste, the incumbent vice mayor of the city, is going to run for the same post under the Hugpong ng Pagbabago party founded by his sister, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

Mayor Sara filed her COC in Davao City on Saturday also for the mayoralty post.

President Duterte however said later in the day that Mayor Sara is running for President with Senator Bong Go as her vice presidential candidate. —KG, GMA News
