Arguing Malaybalay couple killed in grenade blast; 5 others injured

A couple that was heatedly arguing was killed, while five others were injured, in a grenade explosion in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

According to Von Aquino’s “24 Oras Weekend” report, an initial investigation revealed that Jojit Leona, who was holding a grenade, had confronted his wife Romalyn Leona due to jealousy.

Their confrontation led to a heated argument, in the middle of which the grenade exploded.

Authorities reported that five others, including a youth and a baby, were injured during the incident. — Richa Noriega /DVM, GMA News
